HL9PQB Operating Schedule
| How does it work? The weather station (a Davis VantagePro 2) is located outside room 201 at SAHS... it is connected to a computer running (at present UIView, once I get the Linux box updated with the new version of Xastir, then the UIView goes away)... that is transmitting a beacon every 15 minutes via ham radio as HL9PQB-1 to another ham station (HL1ZAR-1), located in It'aewon. There it's gated from RF to the internet, and then transmitted to the APRS-IS system, where it is available for anyone to use. way cool, eh? |
